The 4th game in the Legend of Zelda storyline, Link's Awakening for the Nintendo Gameboy was such a success that 5 years after its release this version, Link's Awakening DX, was released. Hosting a number of fixes and additions over the original version, the most notable change of DX is the full colour palette, implemented to make use of the Gameboy Color while maintaining backwards compatibility with the Gameboy.
